GIANT STEPS,
SPEAKER STACKS
These bespoke speaker cases were designed to stabilise the travelling sound-system ‘Giant Steps’. Each case is designed to lock each element of the stack in place, whilst using minimal material to reduce transport weight. The casings can be flat packed for transport and simply bolted together on site. Making a long-lasting and robust outcome was of huge priority. Bespoke steel joints were used to ensure durability, and their flat-pack design also allows for easy replacement of damaged parts. Materials and tones were selected to compliment existing speaker parts, to give the impression of a single united system.
